Flute maintenance and cleaning
Before Playing
1. Begin to disinfect your flute by cleaning it off with some tap water.
2. Place your flute head joint under the running water, Make sure that you don't get any water in the cork - so place your flute in a vertical line under the water.
3. Grab a small piece of paper towel or a small cloth and begin to dry off the head joint.

After Playing
1. After you are done playing, dry the inside of the flute with a soft clot.
2. Take the head piece and begin to shake the water out of it. Then wipe the joint clean.
3. Wipe the outside of your flute with a soft cloth. Carefully put away all the parts of the flute in its case and latch the case shut.
